Masoud Ajorlo: ok and you don't any driver in the feature ? Unfortunately the GeForce GO 7300 is not supported on Windows 10 and the drivers available on our website will not work. Ahmed: Windows 10 being a brand new Operating system has new minimum hardware requirements in order to support all the features and specifications of the new OS, so some older generation graphics cards are not able to be supported with Windows 10. Ahmed: To check the compatibility please let me know the NVIDIA card number Masoud Ajorlo: but there is no driver for it

Masoud Ajorlo: and i have windows 10 enterprise 64 bit Masoud Ajorlo: hi i have dell inspiron 6400

I did research on this forum and on the rest of the interwebs but I couldn't find an answer.I said to nvidia our problem and they said to me : So I don’t think HP will release new drivers for running Windows 8 on my 6 year old precious DV9055ea. Officially HP has no software or drivers available for running any version of Windows 7 on my notebook. Does the nVIDIA chip run cooler on one driver? Which one? Or should I use an older Vista driver to prevent the nVIDIA chip from running too hot and becoming unsoldered. :smileyembarrassed:).Īre the drivers in the Software and Drivers download section on the HP website in some way optimized for notebooks in the DV9000-series? Or is the Windows Vista driver sp42635 from (Version: 7.) the better choice? Not in beta but officially for Vista 32-bit, unofficially for Windows 7 (and not tested in Windows 8 RP. After more than three years it’s still in beta, permanent beta, but I know it runs on my notebook. Should I go for the Windows 7 driver 179.48beta from February, 11 of 2009 (Version: 7.) on the nVIDIA website. Which one of the two drivers is the best choice for the final version of Windows 8 in a couple of weeks? I know the version numbers and release dates of the drivers are roughly the same. I have read somewhere this driver runs on Windows 7 as well (but unofficially). For nVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 this is the Windows Vista 32-bit driver sp42635 from (Version: 7.). Now, temporarily back on Windows XP (and all my files and applications), I visited the Software and Drivers download section on the website of HP and I searched for the most recent drivers. I didn’t like Windows 8, I totally loved it !!

Clicking on every menu and option I could find, getting a feel of how to use the new user interface. I tested and used the Release Preview for approximately 20 hours (in one week). The GeForce Go 7600 temperature was unknown, but the bottom part of the notebook didn’t feel hot. Temperature of the CPU and drives on the notebook were good.

I could watch video’s in 720p on YouTube and videos in VLC ran completely smooth.

The resolution was fine (1440 x 900) after installation and reboot.

It was the 179.48beta from February, 11 of 2009 (it was version: 7. I visited the website of nVIDIA and downloaded the most recent Windows 7 32-bit driver for the GeForce GO 7600.

In most apps it was good but watching videos on YouTube, watching a movie using VLC media player, surfing with IE10 and Firefox, etc… was a pain in the * ! The only thing that didn’t run “out of the box” was the resolution of the screen. The HP-driver for the RICOH cardreader appeared in a pop-up on the second day of testing the RP and I installed it. After installation I updated Windows 8 RP until there were no updates available.Įverything did run pretty good and responsive: Keyboard, touchpad, mouse, speakers, microphone, touch keys for sound control, USB-ports and optical drive, etc. I have a HP Pavilion DV9055ea and for testing purposes I installed Windows 8 Release Preview (32-bit) a few weeks ago.
